The Five Things You Need to Know About The NFL RIght Now:

1. Albert Haynesworth has failed not one, but two conditioning tests. He'll be allowed to try another to get onto the field in what continues as a simmering feud between the veteran defensive tackle and Redskins coach Mike Shanahan.

2. The Ravens, already hurting in the secondary with the hip injury to Ed Reed, lost cornerback Dominique Foxworth for the season. He suffered a torn ACL in a non-contact drill.

3. Tom Brady's contract remains an issue with the Patriots, but the veteran quarterback isn't making a big deal out of it, nor does he say it's a distraction. "I'd like to think I have a little more mental toughness than anything to let that be a distraction and affect the way I play," Brady says.

4. Bengals running back Cedric Benson, accused of assaulting a bartender in an incident last month, will not be suspended.

5. According to Jay Glazer's Twitter account, the Jets have extended Rex Ryan's contract by two years.
