NFL standing PAT on extra-point tries

The competition committee is not expected to recommend a change on extra points, even though the overwhelming majority of PAT kicks are made.
There has also been no discussion of a system in which touchdowns would automatically count for seven points, but a team could opt to take six points and go for a two-point conversion. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell had recently floated that idea.
