The decision is easy for Eagles first-year coach Chip Kelly: With Michael Vick still hurting from a hamstring injury, Nick Foles is his starter.

Things figure to get interesting once Vick is ready to play again. And Kelly is smart to be evasive about who gets the start when that day comes.

“Until we know what the health is, I’m not saying what anybody is,” Kelly said.

Good answer. After all, Foles has done a terrific job in relief of the injured Vick, leading the Eagles to back-to-back wins over the Giants and Buccaneers. If the winning continues Sunday against the Cowboys, Kelly might have no choice but to stick with Foles, who’s in just his second year and has plenty of upside left. Vick, meanwhile, has been injury prone throughout his career, and at 33, this could be his final year with the Eagles
