Orton feeling heat on Tebow

TIM TEBOW, Florida
As a highly touted freshman, Tebow split time with starter Chris Leak and helped the Gators win the 2006 national title. As a sophomore, Tebow won the Heisman Trophy. Tebow finished third in the 2008 Heisman Trophy voting, but led the Gators to the national title. In 2009, Tebow and the Gators lost the SEC title game to Alabama and he finished his remarkable career with a win in the Sugar Bowl.
NFL Draft: There was debate about whether Tebow could be an NFL quarterback. The Denver Broncos, however, selected Tebow 25th overall in the 2010 Draft. He played some, but didn?t start his first game until Dec. 19. He picked up his first pro win a week later. Credit: Getty Images
Kyle Orton is already feeling the heat in Denver, with some fans chanting for third-stringer Tim Tebow, the team's first-round pick last year, to replace him during Monday night's home loss to the Raiders.
"No, not at all," he said. "I'm not going to sit here and waste my time answering questions about it, to be honest with you. Until Coach (John) Fox comes to me, he's the only one that I'm going to listen to. So, I'd rather you guys not waste my time with the questions because I'm not going to answer them."
And what does Fox say?
"Life's not fair, but at the end of the day, he'll bounce back. I have all the confidence in the world in him. He did a lot of good things Monday night as well, so we've got some things we need to correct and we'll do that."
Fox remains in Orton's corner ... at least for now.
"Right now, we feel like Kyle Orton gives us our best chance," Fox said. "Even the staff before us felt that way. ... Right now, he's our starting quarterback. There's no question about that. Like our whole team, we've got some room for improvement this week."
