More good news for the Patriots. 

More bad news for the Jets. 

New England has another strong veteran presence in its secondary, as the Patriots signed safety Adrian Wilson, who had been released in a salary cap move by the Cardinals earlier this week. 

It's a good signing for the Patriots, whose secondary has been a continued source of concern in recent years. 

But it still doesn't address New England's most pressing free agency issue: re-signing cornerback Aqib Talib, who remains on the open market.
