Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor, selected in the third round of the supplemental draft, has appealed his five-game suspension to the man who issued the suspension.
Pryor and his legal representatives appeared this morning before NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, who issued the suspension shortly after Pryor was drafted. Goodell essentially upheld the five-game suspension issued by Ohio State after it was found that Pryor accepted gifts, including free tattoos, that were against NCAA rules.
It's uncertain when Goodell will issue a ruling on the matter. Until then, Pryor is not permitted to play in any games or practice with the Raiders.
