Ravens defensive tackle Haloti Ngata, who is scheduled to become a free agent if and when the NFL and NFL Players Association work out a new collective bargaining agreement, isn't going anywhere just yet.
The Ravens have placed the franchise tag on Ngata, who is considered one of the best - if not THE best - defensive tackles in the game.
The franchise tag will cost the Ravens an estimated $12.1 million for the 2011 season unless they sign Ngata to a long-term deal.
