Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez destroyed his home security system and dismantled his cell phone, according to an ABC News report that casts further suspicion on the player in the wake of the murder of semi-pro football player Odin Lloyd, 27, who was Hernandez's friend.

Sources told ABC News that Hernandez has not been ruled out as a suspect in the homicide. Police also want to know why a team of house cleaners was hired on Monday to scrub Hernandez's home.

Police have focused on Hernandez since Lloyd's body was found shot in the back of the head at an industrial park about a mile from Hernandez's home in North Attleborough, Mass. Police believe Lloyd was killed between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. Monday, but his body wasn't found until 5:30 p.m. that day by a jogger, according to ABC News.

"He [Hernandez] has not been ruled out. We are not calling him a suspect, but he is definitely not in the clear," said one police official close to the investigation.
