Report: Michael Strahan to co-host Live!
You might be seeing a lot more of Michael Strahan starting next month.
The former Giants’ All Pro defensive end, who has been a Fox television NFL analyst since retiring after the 2007 season, has reportedly been tabbed to be the permanent co-host of Live! alongside Kelly Ripa. According to the website “Broadcasting and Cable,” ABC will make the announcement in early September.
According to the report, Strahan will retain his job as a Fox analyst.
ABC has been looking for a permanent sidekick for Ripa since Regis Philbin left the show late last year. Strahan has made frequent guest appearances on the show.
