Report: Moss released by Vikings
Michael Lombardi of the NFL Network is reporting that the Vikings have waived Randy Moss. Lombardi said Vikings head coach Brad Childress informed the team at a meeting this morning. Childress reportedly allowed Moss to remain in Boston after yesterday's loss to the Patriots in Foxboro.
Moss was acquired by the Vikings in a trade with the Patriots in Week 5, and he appeared in just four games with the VIkings. He finished with 13 catches for 171 yards and two touchdowns.
