Colts first-year head coach Chuck Pagano has been diagnosed with a form of leukemia, and will miss the next several games while undergoing treatment, according to the Indianapolis Star.

Pagano had complained of severe fatigue in recent weeks, and chalked it up to the grind of the NFL season. But after undergoing tests, it was determined that he has acute promyelocytic leukemia.

Pagano, who turns 52 on Tuesday, was hired to replace Jim Caldwell in the off-season. The Colts will update his condition at a news conference later this morning.
