Reports: Jeff Demps to sign with Patriots

The Jets were one of several teams interested in Olympic sprinter Jeff Demps, a former running back/kick returner at Florida, but it appears their AFC East rivals have gotten to him first. 

Per multiple reports, Demps will sign with the Patriots, who are in the market for a return man. Demps likely will get a chance to play with the regular offense, too, since the Patriots are somewhat unsettled at running back. Fox13 in Tampa was the first to report the news.
