Revis: Calvin Johnson is like Forrest Gump

Darrelle Revis goes up against Lions star wideout Calvin Johnson on Sunday in Detroit, and there will be plenty of respect from the Jets' cornerback. And a little humor, too. 

"He's a great receiver, big, physical and he can run like Forrest Gump," Revis said. "That was a joke. That's not in a bad way, so don't write that in a bad way. He's fast. In the movie, Forrest Gump was fast. I respect him as a receiver."

Revis and Johnson were first-round picks in the 2007 draft, so Revis has kept up with Johnson's career. 

"I really know about him," Revis said. "He's been making a lot of plays over the years."
