Redskins rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III, the second overall pick in the 2012 draft, has signed a four-year deal with the Redskins.

The contract is reportedly worth $21 million, with all of the money guaranteed.

Griffin's deal could lead to the signing of the draft's top choice - Colts quarterback Andrew Luck. The former Stanford star is close to a new contract, according to team owner Jim Irsay, but the two sides haven't been able to close the deal. Griffin's contract could nudge them toward an agreement in the very near future.
