Steelers have it in the (doggy) bag

The dog picked the Steelers.
Lady, the clairvoyant canine who has capably called the last seven Super Bowl champs, put in her pick for the Pittsburgh Steelers, a family member said.
"I think it really shows the dog has a mind of its own," said Paul Wisniewski, whose cousin, Vera Von Wiren-Garczynski, owns the dog. "She doesn't pay attention to publicity and noise. She goes by her formula and goes by it very scientifically."
Every year, Von Wiren-Garczynski, 80, takes Lady out for a walk around their Glen Cove neighborhood. If the dog makes her rounds and wants another go, it's a nod to the AFC. If she wants to go in, Lady's vote is for the NFC.
Lady has shown she has a (slightly wet) nose for football. The German shepherd-border collie mix will be going for her eighth correct pick in a row.
Yet for all her acclaim, Lady has kept a level head, sticking to her tried-and-true tradition of watching the big game with an egg and bacon omelet and maybe a little bologna.
"The dog," Wisniewski deadpanned, "has not gone Hollywood."
