How much is Tom Brady worth?

Well, the Patriots quarterback will make a base salary of $8 million this season, according to Spotrac, a website that tracks players' salaries. In terms of an actual game, Brady is worth at least a field goal.

The elimination of Brady's four-game suspension has boosted the Patriots' odds of winning next Thursday night's season-opener against the Steelers.

According to a tweet from ESPN sports business reporter Darren Rovell, citing Top Bet Sports, the Patriots went from one-point favorites without Brady to 7-point favorites with Brady.

Meanwhile, Betonline and Sports Betting both had the Patriots go from -3.5 without Brady on Aug. 31 to -7 with Brady back. And Topbet had the Patriots as three-point favorites on July 6, but now 7-point favorites with Brady. Vegas Insider had the Patriots at -3.5 on Wednesday night. When Brady became eligible to play, the Patriots picked up three points and are now -6.5.

Bovada, another sportsbook, says Brady's MVP odds have gone from 20-1 to 10-1 after winning his appeal against the NFL.
