Vick glad Burgess is on his side
When the Eagles re-signed DE Derrick Burgess as a replacement for the injured Brandon Graham, Michael Vick was glad to have Burgess on his side. After all, the last time Vick saw him, he was in the Falcons' backfield pressuring Vick during the 2004 NFC Championship Game. Burgess sacked Vick twice in the Eagles' 27-10 win.
"He gave me hell in that championship game," Vick said. "I'll never forget. He's a really good player. Hopefully he'll come here energized, fired up and ready to go. We're going to need him."
A third-round pick of the Eagles in 2001, Burgess played for the Patriots in 2009 and was released before this season.
