8) Vincent Jackson

He may be the NFL's most underrated wide receiver. He had 68 catches and nine touchdowns this year, and he caught passes of 30 yards or more in six of the 15 games he played. Along with Antonio Gates and Malcom Floyd, Jackson is one of three top receiving threats who are all at least 6-foot-4. The Jets have one defensive back ? safety Kerry Rhodes ? taller than 6-1. Free agent wide receiver Vincent Jackson, the most highly regarded receiver on the open market, has struck it right with a five-year deal with the Buccaneers.

The Buccaneers doled out $55,555,555 for the contract. Jackson will receive $36 million over the first three years of the deal- $26 million in the first two years. The deal includes a guaranteed $26 million.

The Chargers were interested in retaining Jackson, but not at the price the Bucs were willing to pay.

And why all the 5's in the contract? According to one of Jackson's agents, Jonathan Feinsod, it was a tribute to Bucs quarterback Josh Freeman. His jersey number is 5.

Nice.
