Herm Edwards was trending nationally on Wednesday morning and early afternoon. That had some folks thinking something bad happened to him, a byproduct of how Twitter and those crazy Twitterers work. (Twitter killed Nicky Minaj earlier this week, and Miley Cyrus has died at least three times on Twitter.)

Fortunately for us, nothing bad and something awesome happened.

Edwards, the former coach of the Jets and Chiefs and now an ESPN analyst, spoke to incoming players at the NFL's rookie symposium. It's fantastic. Classic Herm. Further proof that if Edwards walked into a room I was in, and I no longer had two arms, I would still figure out a way to hug that guy.
