Brendon de Jonge continues to surprise
Brendon de Jonge is now nursing a two-stroke lead after sinking consecutive birdies on No. 12 and the par-4, 445 yard 13th. The 29-year-old from Zimbabwe is now at 4-under overall. I don't think too many people have de Jonge in their U.S. Open office pools.
The 19-year-old Noh Seung-yul, who shot a 3-over 74 Thursday, birdied the 2nd, 3rd, and 6th to pull to three-under on the day.
