Els leading Marquee Group
Ernie Els and Lee Westwood each hit beautiful approach shots to within feet of the cup on the par-4, 445 yard 13th. Els drained the putt for his second birdie of the day to pull to two-under on the day and even par overall. Westwood also birdied to improve one-under today and two-over for the tournament.
Tiger, who gave his birdie on 11 right back with a bogey on 12 after finding a greenside bunker, left himself with a 40-foot putt that was right on line until it broke left at the last moment.
