Enjoy the PGA, but be glad you're not there
You've probably noticed by now that Whistling Straits is a stunning eye-catcher on TV. That's just the way you should always think of it. Having been there the last time they had the PGA in that remote Wisconsin town, I can tell you it's murder on spectators. The artificial slopes that were built into this Lake Michigan supposed links course are incredibly steep along the ropes. It's a nightmare traversing them and there were many reports last time of people falling.
I can only imagine what it's like trying to get around in the fog.
