Finally, a birdie for Phil
It took 20 holes but Phil Mickelson finally has a circle on his scorecard.
Mickelson's approach shot on the par-4 second hole was within three feet of the cup leading to his first birdie putt of the tournament.
On the dogleg left No. 3, Mickelson's was left with a difficult second shot after his tee shot found a fairway bunker. He blasted it out of the sand and onto the green, setting up a 10-foot putt, which he drained for his second straight birdie, evoking a fist pump from the Masters' champion.
Two-under for Mickelson.
