Former Cold Spring pro wins Horton Smith Award
John Kennedy, who spent 10 years as director of golf at Cold Spring Country Club before the past 20 at Westchester Country Club, was named the winner of the Horton Smith Award by the PGA of America. The Smith award is given for contributions to PGA education.
Fifteen of his former assistants are now head pros.
