Unknown Frenchman Gregory Havret shot a third-round 69 and is even-par for the tourney. He is currently five strokes behind McDowell. No Frenchman has ever won the U.S. Open. The last foreign-born player to do so? Angel Cabrera of Argentina in 2007.
