Game on at Pebble Beach

The first golfers are out there. It's a good clear dry day and milder than days have been here earlier this week, when it felt like football weather.

Nothing exciting yet. Rafael Cabrera-Bello of Spain and Mikko Ilonen of Finland each birdied No. 10, where they started. Ilonen also birdied No. 11.

Phil Mickelson begins on No. 10 at 11:06 Eastern time. Tiger Woods starts at 4:36 Eastern time on No. 1
