Jack Nicklaus says make golf 12 holes
Would you consider it a round of golf if you played only 12 holes? Jack Nicklaus made that very suggestion in an appearance at a charity event in Tennessee last week. He said he is ordering 12-hole scorecards for his courses, Muirfield Village and The Bear. Trying to promote shorter rounds and attract time-strapped people.
See what Long Island golf officials say in the Around LI golf page tomorrow. What do you think about it? Would you like to play 12 and call it a day? Is it better than nine holes? Or is it neither fish nor fowl?
