Jan Stephenson on Aussie `Dancing with the Stars'

     Jan Stephenson, the former LPGA glamor star and pinup sensation, will be among the stars on the upcoming Australian edition of Dancing with the Stars

Australia’s Channel Seven announced that Jan Stephenson will be joining the line-up for Series 11 of Dancing With The Stars. Jan will be partnered with Mark Hodge in the new season of the international hit TV show.  A 16-time LPGA Tour Champion with three major championships to her credit, Jan has won three times on The Legends Tour and holds the top spot in Legends Tour career money. Jan has been named for the sixth time to the Handa Cup World Team to be played May 19 – 22, 2011 in Rye, NH.  

The show’s creators promise, “…glitz, glamour and a touch of unpredictability with a cast including a cheeky celebrity chef,  a golfing sensation, high profile celebrity models, a cricket superstar as well as a world champion surfer all hitting the dance floor.”

Each week during the live show scores will be combined from the judges plus the all important viewer vote to determine who will be at the top of the dancing leader board and who will be sent waltzing home.

Celebrities will be dancing to raise funds for their favorite charity.
