Jim Liu second youngest at U.S. Am--by 5 days
Jim Liu has turned 15 since he was the youngest winner of the U.S. Junior Amateur (breaking Tiger Woods' record). Still, he's almost the younges in the U.S. Amateur field tomorrow at Chambers Bay in Washington state. He's 5 days older than George Cunningham of Litchfield Park, Az.
Liu checked in from Chambers Bay. He said the course looks great. He has been practicing hard.
