Labritz solid so far at PGA
Rob Labritz, former assistant pro at Shinnecock Hills, is 1 over par halfway through his abbreviated second round of the PGA Championship. To put it in perspective for the club pro (he's director of golf at Glen Arbor in Westchester), he is only two shots behind Tiger Woods entering the resumption of round two Satruday morning at Whistling Straits.
Two days of fog have made this PGA feel a little like the 2009 U.S. Open at Bethpage in that weather delays have caused the rounds to overlap--the first round didn't finish until Friday morning, the second round didn't get completed on Friday.
