Jim Liu is two up after 20 holes of his 36-hole final match in the U.S. Junior Amateur. He took the lead early in the first 18 and has not only held on but expanded it, against 17-year-old Justin Thomas of Goshen, Ky. Thomas is headed for the University of Alabama this fall.
