Matt Dobyns qualifies for PGA Championship

Matt Dobyns, head pro at Fresh Meadow Country Club in Lake Success, qualified for the PGA Championship by tying for sixth in the PGA Professional National Championship in Seaside, California.
The top 20 finishers in the club pro tournament earn spots in the major championship to be held Aug. 9-12 at Bellerive Country Club in St. Louis.
