Phil releases statement (not much)
Phil Mickelson's statement, released by his spokesman:
"I love Ridgewood. It is a tremendous course and The Barclays has a great field. I'm disappointed. I'll try to get this thing worked out over the next five or six days before Boston.
Responding to the issue about anything he could put his finger on, he added, "I didn't ?? I didn't drive the ball very well. I'm still working on it."
