Kelly Shon of Port Washington has made it to the LPGA Tour. The recent Princeton graduate earned her card by finishing ninth at the five-round Qualifying Tournament in Daytona Beach, Florida. She finished at 6 under par, one stroke ahead of Cheyenne Woods, Tiger Woods' niece, who also earned a tour card.

After tapping in for a par 72 Sunday, Shon said: "All the weight on my shoulders just dropped right there . . . Making it on the tour was my next goal and now I have bigger goals."
