Seven-hole playoff on Assistants Tour

            In what probably was the wildest finish on the Met Assistants Tour this year, Kyle Baehler of Apawamis defeated Greg Bisconti of in a seven-hole playoff to win this week’s tournament Monday at Aspetuck Valley Country Club in Weston, Ct.

            Anthony Aruta of Mill River was the top Long Island finisher, tied for third with a 72, one stroke behind Baehler and Bisconti. Kirk Oguri of the Greens at Half Hollow shot 73.

             The tour moves to Long Island this coming week for an event at Hempstead Country Club.
