COLORADO SPRINGS -- Hee Kyung Seo of South Korea was the clubhouse leader Sunday night after completing her fourth round of the U.S. Women's Open.
Play was suspended because of darkness Sunday night at 10 p.m. EDT and was to resume Monday at 10 a.m. It is the fourth straight day of suspended play at the Broadmoor East Course because of rain.
Seo shot a final-round 3-under-par 68 for a four-round, 2-under 281 total. Next closest in the clubhouse late Sunday night was Inbee Park, also of South Korea, at 2-over 286.
After a 2-hour, 37-minute rain delay, play resumed, allowing Seo to complete her round. Next closest were So Yeon Ryo of South Korea at 2 under with three holes to play late Sunday night and Christie Kerr at 1 under with two holes to play.
Seo made four straight birdies to finish her front nine and made the turn in 5-under 31.
Players were trying to get through 36 holes in one day at the 7,047-yard course, where rainstorms have interrupted play every day. The day began with Mika Miyazato in the lead at 5 under, but she shot 5-over 76 in the third round to fall down the leader board.
Seo, who turned 25 Friday, put herself in position by shooting a 3-under 68 early Sunday in the third round.
