State of Golf to be examined by NBC, Golf Channel

    Johnny Miller and Nick Faldo on the same panel, on the same team? Just shows that corporate maneuvering can make interesting conversations. The two best, most candid analysts in golf will be among those on the same panel at 8:30 Friday night. Golf Channel will air a State of the Game special, featuring the announcing staffs of NBC (with Johnny) and Golf Channel (Sir Nick). They will be discussing Tiger Woods (of course)  the World Golf Championships Accenture Match Play, which will be the first joint effort by NBC and Golf Channel since the latter's parent company, Comcast, also took over NBC.

     For golf observers, it could and should be the start of an interesting relationship.
