There's water on those greens
The greens are running at 13 on the Stimpmeter, the USGA said, adding that that's the same speed as yesterday.
All greens were watered Thursday night, and 3, 5, 6, 9 and 10 were watered this morning. That's pretty much what had happened for the first round, which means this is waht they had planned to do even before Tiger Woods complained. In fact, golfers playing the morning draw Thursday said the greens were fairly soft.
Because they reversed the draws today, everyone will have a shot at playing with softer greens.
