Tiger avoids his putter
Tiger finally found a way to solve the greens at Pebble Beach: leave the putter in the bag.
After his second shot on the par-4, 390 yard 11th touched down on the green and was carried to the rough by backspin, Woods chipped in from about 35 feet for his first birdie of the tournament. Also, Tiger's first fist pump of the tournament.
Els drained a long birdie putt to improve to 2-over.
