Tiger Woods cancels news conference at Genesis Open
Tiger Woods canceled a scheduled news conference at the Genesis Open in Los Angeles because he has been “advised by doctors to limit all activities,” the tournament said in a statement.
Woods had earlier withdrawn from playing in the PGA Tour event, which is run by the Tiger Woods Foundation, because of back spasms.
Last month, Woods returned to the PGA Tour after 17 months in the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines in San Diego. Woods missed the cut at Torrey Pines for the first time in his career, finishing at 4-over 148.
