Tiger Woods owns the day now
Just back from the front nine, was at the eighth green when Tiger Woods made his eagle to go 10 under. Explosion of sound was louder than anything I've heard on a golf course in quite a while. Woods had great body rotation on the fist pump, too. Then he followed it with a classic Tiger downhill 10-foot putt for par (out of the trees) on No. 9.
It is his course, his sport again.
Rory McIlroy, all but anointed winner by most of us yesterday, lost his 4-shot lead within a half-hour. Amazingly, he's tied for the lead with Woods and Charl Schwawrtzel.
Back out to the course....
