Tiger Woods shoots 71, Vijay Singh leads at Greenbrier

WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va. -- On a day that Tiger Woods struggled with his putting stroke, a pair of older guys stood out in the morning round at the Greenbrier Classic.
Vijay Singh shot a 7-under 63 to post the best score among the early finishers Thursday on the Old White TPC Course.
Woods, coming off last week's win at Congressional, stumbled on the par-5 17th. He drove into a hazard, took a penalty and three-putted from 20 feet for double-bogey. He finished with a 1-over 71.
