Top LIers in Apawamis Junior
Some of the top teenage golfers on Long Island are in the field at the American Junior Golf Association’s Apawamis Junior tournament in Westchester this Tuesday through Thursday. The AJGA is a national-scope tour whose alumni include Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Paula Creamer and Morgan Pressel.
Long Islanders in the boys category are Jack Maerki (Brightwaters), Stephen Mincone (Dix Hills) and Mark Reilly (Babylon).
Among the local players in the girls tournament will be Tina Chang (Mineola), Isabelle Galantino (Westbury) and Dakota Trick (Center Moriches).
