Celebrities offering themselves up for charitable causes is nothing new, but one arrived in the inbox the other day that seemed like such a Cinderella story, outta nowhere, it needed a follow-up phone call for confirmation.

Sure enough, the celebrity fundraising platform Prizeo launched the "Cinderella Story Caddyshack Experience" in which someone can earn a chance to play golf with Bill Murray at his annual Murray Bros. Caddyshack Charity Golf Tournament April 21-22 in St. Augustine, Florida.

The winner will get a flight for two from anywhere in the world, two hotel nights and tickets to a VIP party and concert in addition to playing with the man who famously played a groundskeeper in the 1980 film.

There is no set contribution amount, but Murray wrote on the website he'd be happy if you offered as little as $5.

Proceeds from the fan entries and the tournament itself go to charities that provide medical services, educational programs and other things for communities around the country.

Prizeo was acquired earlier this year by Todd Wagner, who with Mavericks owner Mark Cuban co-founded Broadcast.com, which made them both wealthy during the dot-com boom of the late 1999s.
