Want to volunteer to work The Barclays at Bethpage Black?

Registration is open for volunteers at The Barclays, the PGA Tour playoff tournament to be held at Bethpage Black Aug. 21-26. Anyone interested should visit thebarclaysgolf.com and click on "Volunteer for the Barclays."
There is a $65 fee, which entitles each volunteer to a weeklong pass (good for admission even on the days he or she is not working), a weeklong guest pass, an official cap and shirt, lunch vouchers and an invitation to the Volunteer Appreciation Party.

The Salisbury Senior Golf Club is inviting prospective members to a meeting Tuesday, April 3 at the VFW Hall, 155 Searingtown Road, Albertson. Any male golfer 60 and older with a Nassau County Senior Leisure Pass is eligible. Season starts April 9. For information call 516-541-5496.
