Watson tees off
Tom Watson appraoched the first tee to an ovation that is sure to be the loudest of the day.
Watson responded by ripping a drive now the middle of the fairway on the par-4, 380 yard No. 1 and ultimately tapped in for par.
The 60-year-old is tied for 17th at six-over par and will need a top-10 finish to be automatically invited back to the Open next year.
