Lee Westwood is finally showing why he was a popular pick to win the tournament.

After parring the first three holes, Westwood birdied Nos. 4, 5 and 6 to improve to five-over for the tournament.  After entering the day tied for 30th, a top-10 finish is is within reach.

Westwood had a respectable three-over in the first round before shooting even-par int he second round.  But a third round score of five-over 76 somewhat derailed any chance of winning the tournament.
