Wong beats Saladino on first extra hole
Eugene Wong made birdie on the ffirst extra hole,having won the final two holes in regulation, to defeat Joe Saladino of Huntington Country Club in the first round of the U.S. Amateur at Chambers Bay in Washington state.
It was a disappointing ending to a day in which Saladino led thorughout.
