1) BAY SHORE SOFTBALL The Marauders worked around the rain to nail down three more victories — against Northport, Central Islip and Connetquot — and finish the regular season undefeated. Ace Taylor McGowan logged two wins, and allowed just six hits. This is Bay Shore’s 10th undefeated season and its 21st season with 20-plus wins.

2) WEST ISLIP BOYS LACROSSE The quest for a Class A state championship three-peat begins this week when the top–seed Lions (16-0) enter the playoffs on a two-year, 37-game winning streak. In their only game of the week, West Islip scored an amazing 17 straight goals to wallop Whitman, 20-8. Mike Sagl seven goals, five in an 11-0 third quarter .

3) GARDEN CITY GIRLS LACROSSE The Trojans took another step toward their goal, and continued to look unstoppable in the process. Alexandra Bruno and Krista Dampman each scored three goals as Garden City defeated Lynbrook, 18-2, in the Nassau Class B quarterfinals. They'll take on South Side in a semifinal on Wednesday.

4) COLD SPRING HARBOR BOYS TENNIS The Seahawks, behind Josh Levine and Eric Ambrosio, are the favorite to win the Long Island championship every season. They went undefeated again in Nassau Conference I season.

5) CHAMINADE BOYS GOLF The Flyers have five golfers who are capable of shooting the low score. And match after match, their low score is close to even-par. They have been nothing short of a juggernaut as they remain undefeated at 12-0.

6) PLAINEDGE BASEBALL The top-ranked Red Devils continue to roll through a spectacular season. They are now 23-0 after eliminating Wantagh and Seaford in the playoffs.

7) WARD MELVILLE BOYS LACROSSE The Patriots, whose only loss was to No. 1 West Islip in overtime, showed off its tough defense in pulling away from East Islip, 10-5. Tyler Hegarty scored four goals and had an assist as No. 2 seed Ward Melville outscored the Redmen, 6-1, in the second half.

8) ST. ANTHONY’S GIRLS LACROSSE The Friars reached the CHSAA Class AA final again, this time with a 16-6 win over Our Lady of Mercy on Saturday. St. Anthony's, the three-time defending league champion, will face rival Sacred Heart tomorrow in a rematch of the last three finals.

9) GARDEN CITY BOYS LACROSSE The Trojans, the five-time defending Nassau Class B champ, kicked off its title defense with a 14-2 drubbing of Glen Cove. Tom Gordon led the way with four goals, as Garden City extended its winning streak to 10. During that time, the Trojans have outscored their opponents 128-21.

10) COMSEWOGUE BOYS LACROSSE The Warriors (16-0) enter the Suffolk Class B playoffs as the No. 1 seed and, along with West Islip, the only other undefeated team on Long Island. They are strongly motivated to return to the LIC, where they lost a heartbreaker in overtime to Garden City last year.
