MSG Varsity's Gregg Sarra ranks the top 10 Long Island high school teams across all sports.

1. SACHEM NORTH FOOTBALL The Flaming Arrows moved to 5-0 with a thorough 28-7 win over Northport. Sachem North hosts Floyd in the MSG Varsity game of the week on Cablevision’s channel 14 on Friday at 7 p.m.

2. GARDEN CITY FIELD HOCKEY The Trojans continued to roll, winning their three games last week and outscoring opponents 23-0. Garden City still hasn't allowed a goal this season. And, with an offensive surge the last few games, Alex Bruno is now Nassau's leading scorer with 16 points.

3. ST. ANTHONY’S FOOTBALL The Friars continue to dismantle the CHSFL opponents with another offensive explosion in 56-14 win over St. Joseph Sea. Brian Sherlock and Mike Schillizzi scored two touchdowns each in the rout.

4. HALF HOLLOW HILLS BOYS VOLLEYBALL Thus far, they have had no problems in dominating the rest of Suffolk County with six straight wins. The question is: Can anybody compete with this team?

5. FARMINGDALE BOYS GOLF Defending Long Island golf champion Farmingdale hasn't lost a stroke this season. Farmingdale defeated Massapequa on the front nine of the Bethpage yellow course in to move to 10-0.

6. WARD MELVILLE GIRLS SWIMMING Shannon Lampe won the 100 free (55.56) and swam the lead leg in the winning 200-medley relay (1:55.58) in a 93-88 win over rival Connetquot. The Patriots are 2-0.

7. WARD MELVILLE FIELD HOCKEY The Patriots went 3-0 last week, didn't surrender a goal, and had a big win over Sachem East to maintain control of the division. Abby Beltrani had her second hat trick of the season in a 4-0 win over Northport.

8. ST. ANTHONY’S BOYS SOCCER The Friars picked up three wins last week. Andrew LoManto scored with less than two minutes left in the game as the Friars rallied from a 1-0 deficit to beat Massapequa.

9. WARD MELVILLE GIRLS VOLLEYBALL The Patriots are undefeated in seven straight Suffolk League I matches, they are on course for yet another Long Island championship.

10. NORTH SHORE CROSS COUNTRY. Is there a better cross country team in the state?

Stephanie Peragallo, Hauppauge: The junior center-midfielder scored a career-high five goals in a 5-0 win over Rocky Point.

Michele Daubman, Plainedge: She had a career-high four goals (11 on the season) and added an assist as Plainedge handed Division just its second loss of the year.

James Whelan, Center Moriches: Whelan had five goals and two assists in three games.

Jake Scavetta, Miller Place: He had five goals and two assists in three games.

Hector Guerrero, East Meadow: He had three shutouts in three games.

Maddy Molinari, Manhasset: She scored a career-high five points (three goals, two assists) in a win against Locust Valley.

Olivia Cabral, Sayville: In three games last week, Cabral tallied four goals and five assists. She's now tied for the Long Island lead in points.

Marykate McCormick, Comsewogue: She had an assist and four goals, including the winner in overtime, for a 5-4 win over Rocky Point.
